Most Thais do not use many of the formal eating habits in the west, Thais have their own customs, mainly because of the practices of local food. Thais place great emphasis on food as a social activity. For Thai people should eat a simple joy and not with complex rituals of etiquette. Today, a fork and spoon are widespread and common practice is to use a fork to push food on the spoon. The spoon is held usually in the right hand, and serves asthe only utensil to take from those bites. Eating directly from the fork is as crude. Thai food is famously known for his sharp quality, but there are many mild or non-spicy dishes. Rice is a staple foodFood. Typical breakfast dishes for Thais are:
